Thais Doyle is a native Californian and was raised in the Bay Area. She graduated from San Jose State University with a B.A. in Music Performance and Music Education with an emphasis in voice, piano, and choral music. She went on to receive her Master's degree from Hope International University in Southern California.
Thais has spent over 35 years teaching piano and voice and working with bands and choirs of all ages in church, school, and theater settings. She has served as the Worship Arts Director at Churches in San Jose, Vacaville, Davis,Tracy and Fairfield, California, and continues to work with churches to lead, teach, and train musicians. Thais has taught piano, voice, and choral conducting classes, as well as music workshops for various colleges, churches, schools, and organizations. She has been a member of the Music Teachers Association of California (MTA) and served as a piano adjudicator for the certificate of merit program while teaching a full studio of students. In addition to her work with churches and as a private instructor, Thais has a love for musical theater and has used her piano, vocal, and conducting skills to play for and serve as the musical and vocal director for many musical theater productions - most recently teaching and vocal directing shows for CYT Sacramento (Christian Youth Theater Sacramento). Thais has expertise and interest in all genres of music and enjoys teaching and sharing her love for music with her students. She moved to the Roseville area in 2020 and is excited to get to know you!
